It’s been a little while since I posted a tools tip post. Tools You Can Use highlights various tools I have come across that may be helpful for you as well.
Some time ago I hopped on the twitter train (a wee bit reluctantly I must say). And by no means do I consider myself a twitter expert but I did stumble across a neat little app called Buffer.
Three Reasons Why You Should Use Buffer
#1 Reason: Auto scheduling
What’s great about buffer is it allows you to schedule your tweets at specific times. No need for you to be tied to watching the clock in order to space out your tweets. Just add your tweets and Buffer puts them in a queue to be delivered at your next scheduled time. The free version of Buffer does have a limit on the number of updates per day you can schedule.
#2 Reason: Browser Extensions
Additionally, you get an easy way to tweet quotes, articles, or posts right from your Internet browser when you use the browser extension for Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Find a quote you want to share and simple click the buffer extension button and you get a little pop-up box like in the screen shot below. You have the option of sharing now or buffering. The app automatically creates a link to the page source.
#3 Reasons: Analytics
It also offers analytics on all your posts displaying how many likes, shares, or retweets. You can use Buffer not only with twitter but also with Facebook and LinkedIn. And it integrates nicely with all major feed readers. You can even take Buffer on the go with you via your favorite iPhone or Android device.
Now what are you waiting for to add this tool to your twitter arsenal? Hop on over to BufferApp.com and sign up for your free account now!

Baking…what a great way to spend some mother/daughter time. Have you seen the show the Great American Bake Off (I think that’s what it’s called).

Thanks, Wanda. You always give such useful information, and I am so behind in digital/social media organization.

Organization is just the one word that has been circling around in my head. I want to get better organized.
