You are completely known, yet fully loved by God.
Selah.
When we allow ourselves to walk into the fullness of that statement, how might our perception of ourselves change?
When we realize there is no need to condemn ourselves for that which we fail to be, how much more freely can we walk in who we are?
When we not just agree with the statement intellectually but it gets down deep into our hearts and minds, how much easier it will be to stop all the doing in attempt to earn His love and simply walk in them love He has already given to each of us.
Thank you, Wanda. It’s taken me a long time to know that I am enough as I am. Now if only someone else would realize that. God is nice, and I’m glad He’s around, but He can’t help me mow the yard or make a family with me.
I couldn’t help but chuckle at your reply Elizabeth. From one single gal to another, I totally understand what you mean. And I’m not one of those who ascribe to the theory that Jesus/God is all we need. I think He created us for relationship.
🙂
God Bless you Wanda!! Thank you for this Thought For Today!! on this Bless and Beautiful Morning. Agape! You have a Wonderful and Bless day as well. 🙂
Hope your day has been a good as well Ms Betty.
I’m so embraced by these words, Wanda. It’s like getting a hug and some hot chocolate in the middle of a gloomy day. I get the same feeling when I read the verse that says He knows my thoughts before they even reach my lips. God’s love is the absolute no-fail shelter, and we really do need to get that in our hearts.
Doesn’t that phrase just make your heart smile when you sit fully in it. That one little phrase has been whirling around in this head of my the past few days. And as it sink more into my heart, the more refreshed I am. Just knowing that that He loves even though He knows everything about me–the good & the bad.
It’s pretty amazing – God’s love. After all, I know myself pretty completely, and a lot of the time I don’t like myself much!
But yes, it’s time to really let HIS love sink into the depths of our hearts, our minds, and our feelings. After all, we wear the white robes of righteousness that Jesus bought for us on the cross!
GOD BLESS!
Indeed it is amazing. There so many things I tend to nit-pick about myself but just allowing that phrase to sink deep within me that loves me knowing all of that stuff just is almost to much for me to fathom.
Thank you for this reminder, Wanda! I’ve sent a couple of people to your design website. I hope that they contact you!
I appreciate the referrals Alisa. I’m thinking of hosting a design giveway next month as way of promoting my services and expanding my portfolio.
I love this Wanda! By believing we are loved no matter what, we can say and believe that in any situation we can accept ourselves as we are and grow to become the person He wants us to be. We are His chosen individuals with a whole lot of distinctive gifts and talents that He wants us to share and use for His benefit and on behalf of Him. 🙂
Blessings for a joyful weekend!
Denise
Love the way you phrase that Denise. We are continually in a state of becoming but with accepting God’s love for us when can embrace all that we are already. Hope you have a great weekend as well my friend.
Love this… Beautifully simple, yet profound. Wow. Thank you so much! God is so so good. He knows each of us by name, He knows who we are, He knows our thoughts, He knows us inside and out. Yet he still loves us – completely.
Thank you Lord! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Bomi, yes it’s amazing to think about the God of all creation knows us so intimately, yet loves us completely. I have been stuck reading Psalms 139 for days just letting the truth of those scriptures sink into my heart. It’s a pleasure to meet you and have you stop by.
Thanks for this post Wanda. I always find it so amazing that God knows every single thing about me but loves me anyway.
It’s really hard for our natural minds to conceive.
Very thought provoking – good to editate on. Thanks
Thanks Aisha. May you be weekend be filled with the wonders of God’s love.
