Welcome friends to another edition of The Friday Five, where I share a few of my favorite reads I have come across while hopping across the blogosphere. There are so many talented and inspiring bloggers. This is just a small way to shine the spotlight on a few good reads for your weekend reading pleasure. And a big ole thank you for those of you who joined the fellowship last week!
This weeks Friday Five blog love goes to:
SNATCHED FROM DEATH – MY TESTIMONY by Audrey at Wisdom From the Throne
She shares her personal testimony of how she was planning to commit suicide but God intervened.
Giving up Extreme in Exchange for Being Faithful by Amanda at A Royal Daughter
While the world likes to celebrate extreme success, Amanda reminds us of the beauty of faithfulness in our ordinary lives.
Time to Let Go by Rachel over at The Unraveled Mom
For a girl that is often slow to become attached but clings tightly for far too long this reminded that some times letting go is one of the greatest gifts I can give myself.
at Petals of Joy
A beautiful lens into the ADHD world and a reminder that whatever our challenges God’s grace sufficiently supplies what we need.
Brother Can You Spare a Dime at Sharon Sharing God
This one is for those times when I think I am the teacher only to discover that I’m really the one God is trying to teach a lesson.
Join the Fellowship
Now here is your turn to share all the great reads you have discovered or written this week.
Sharon says
Thanks, Wanda, for the mention this week. And I really like how you *introduced* my post. Yes, the whole situation really was about God teaching me a lesson in the middle of me trying to do something else. If we keep our hearts attuned to His Voice, we’ll find that He’s got lessons to teach in almost anything we do!
GOD BLESS!
Wanda says
You’re right Sharon’s there are little lessons all around us, if only I paid more attention. I really enjoyed your post and my introduction was the lesson I took away from it. Hope your weekend is a great one.
LaVonne says
Thanks, Wanda, for blessing us with these blogs each Friday. I have learned, often through painful experiences, that no matter how old we get, the process of letting go is important to living the promised abundant life. May you be richly blessed as the season changes this weekend.
Wanda says
A new season is upon us indeed. May your harvest be plentiful and your rest sweet.

There really are great finds all across blogland. Feel free to share some of the good ones you stumble across. I see you sprinkling encouragement all across blogland.
Angel @ Finding The Inspiring says
Thanks for your Friday Five, Wanda. I enjoy reading and being inspired by other bloggers I might not have known about other than finding them through you. Blessings!
Wanda says
Its always nice to stumble across a new blogger and happy that I’m to share a little blog love.
Janis@Heart-Filled Moments says
Thanks Wanda for hosting these blogs of encouragement. I just read Sharon’s and loved it. She is such a great storyteller and includes humor along with the lesson learned.
Blessings,
Janis
Wanda says
Janis, you are right. Sharon is a master storyteller. She knows how to pull you in and teach you a lesson that you didn’t realize you needed. Hope you have a fabulous weekend. And thanks for linking up this week.
Alex J. Cavanaugh says
My guest post today got some great comments from other writers who are also Christians. I guess my topic – and my position on it – isn’t one people hear often.
Wanda says
We need to hear fresh perspectives. Will have to get by and read when I get a free moment. I like when others make me think outside the box.
Ella says

Thanks Pam. The word ministry stood out to me in your comment. Often times I miss the seemingly simple ways God may use us in service to others. Thank you sweet friend for helping me to see in a fresh way.
Nikki (Sarah) says
Hi Wanda….I have to remember to link up. Right now the kids are demanding most of my time so haven’t put too much into blogging but I love your site. It’s always positive and centred on the Him who makes life the best. Hugs and wishes for a great weekend.
Wanda says
Ahh thanks Nikki! I certainly understand that family comes before blogging. Love to have you whenever you have time to participate. Hope you enjoy a wonderful weekend.
Kim@Stuffcould... says
You always find such a variety of blog posts to read, interesting they are
Wanda says
They are so many goodies.
Alison Hector says
I really resonated with Sharon’s post. We give and sometimes have a misplaced view of what the motive (and the outcome) should be. God gently reminds us that all we need to do is obey. He’ll handle the rest. Yes!
Wanda says
Obedience is what He requires us but some how we forgot that we are not in charge of the end results. We never know what all His plan entails.
Heather says
Thank you so much for the shout out this past week! What a blessing it was for me to see early Friday morning:-) I love, love, love the name of your blog!
Wanda says
Oh you’re quite welcome Heather. I really enjoyed your post and it’s great to share with others when I find a good read. Have a great week.
