Welcome back to another edition of The Friday Friday, where I dish out a little blog love to a few of the many inspiring great reads I have come across during the week.
Say What You Mean, Say What Matters by Vanessa at Hearts on Guard > Questions are we sending one another the wrong message when we say you are enough?
Organize?!?!?!? by LaVonne at Sword of Goliath >Challenges the organizing craze and calls us to not to abandon our quest for organization altogether but “don’t waste time organizing things that are not a priority to your purpose and plans simply because everyone else has those things on their agenda”.
Choose Your Own Adventure at Elyse Murphy >explores the conundrum of life when there are many options and you have prayed and don’t sense a clear direction on whether one seems better than the other. Are life choices always black and white?
Trading One Dramatic Resolution for 10,000 Little Ones by Paul Tripp at Desiring God > such a great article that points us away from “Big Drama Christianity” to one that embraces the small moments of everyday life that offers us growth and grace.
But biblical Christianity — which has the gospel of Jesus Christ at its heart — simply doesn’t rest its hope in big, dramatic moments of change.
The Social Media Manager Prayer by ThatGuyKC at ChurchMag >great prayer for any of us involved in the use of social media and while you’re there read The Christian Blogger Prayer

LaVonne says
Thanks, for the reads, Wanda. I even have to go back and ready my own again, because guess who is still trying to organize the unnecessary stuff? lol! Have a blessed weekend.
Wanda says
I do understand LaVonne. Organization is still on my goal is list but I haven’t really reached it yet.

Hey Wanda! You dropped by my blog a while back and I, being the terrible person I am, am just getting over to yours.
Ahh I love the quote from the Tripp article! It applies to some of the things I have been looking at lately with regard to some stuff in the charismatic movement. It seems like the focus often times is on some dramatic experience in order for change to take place instead of daily walking in the word seeking Him.
Wanda says
Hi Rebekah, oh you’re not terrible person. Life gets busy…trust me I understand. I think the quest for the big dramatic is leading to lot of discontent within the body of Christ.

That story that Paul shared of his nine year old son asking him, “Is that how a Christian man should talk to his wife?” referring to his mom… That’ll make you stop and think… then fall on your knees… Thanks for sharing.
Wanda says
Kids are ever watching not just what we say but what we do aren’t they Floyd?
floyd says
Yes, indeed. I have three daughters, the youngest still in high school and have some similar regrets…
Wanda says
I think we all do Floyd. I don’t have children but I certainly have regrets.
Alison Hector says
Wanda, happy Sunday! I love the Christian blogger’s prayer. I sure do pray for my blog, but not enough. I like how CK encouraged us to pray for clarity, and for patience to handle all the aspects of blog life.
Wanda says
Hi Alison, he really covered all angles that I hadn’t really thought about. It’s a great resource to refer back to from time to time for sure.
