I’m not sure how the week has rolled around to Friday so fast. Nevertheless it’s here once again. It’s been one of those weeks where I have not managed to get much blog reading done. So I’m going to share a few of the reads I did come across and remembered to bookmark. This week’s Friday Five blog love goes to:

When reading these words in Walk With God Now, it serves as a great reminder to be consistent in doing the small things even when it makes us feel uncomfortable.

She realized that if any of her writings helped even one person, she was absolutely willing to step outside of her comfort zone. Mom’s beautiful devotionals are one of the most precious pieces of her legacy for her family and friends. I know that these continue to reach people whom she has never met, and only Jesus truly knows all those who have been touched by my mom’s writings (including the anonymous writings that even I don’t know are hers).  -Tami

But when your kids are big and grown, when they have exchanged their fake tattoos for real ones, and they smoke a pipe in the back yard, and they introduce you to their romantic interests, and you think you might just die because they are so huge and smart and in charge of themselves… Call me. –Jamie
