You talk to people outside our blogging circle and most of them have no idea of this secret society we are all involved and wouldn’t begin to know where to find some really useful gift ideas for us bloggers. These are items that would have been on Christmas list a few years back, if I thought my family had the slightest idea how or where to find them. BOOKS
Intentional Blogger – I’m currently reading through this book and what’s great about it is that is written from a Christian perspective. The ladies that wrote this book used to blog at Christian Mommy Blogger, which has recently been sold but the book is still available.
31 Days to Build a Better Blog by Darren Rowse- This is another book on blogging that I’ve been reading through and it has some great practical information on improving your blog. There is always room for improvement.
HOSTING
If you make the move from Blogger to WordPress, one thing you will need is a hosting provider. Every since I made the switch I have used RFE hosting and they have excellent customer service and I highly recommended them. Another hosting provider I recommend is Bluehost.
DOMAIN NAME
Instantly set your blog apart and give it a more professional feel by getting your personal domain instead of wordpress.com or blogspot.com. I typically use GoDaddy when buying domain name since they usually run specials.
PREMIUM BLOG THEME
My favorite go to place for WordPress themes is StudioPress. They have a great selection of Genesis Child Themes. I’m currently using a customized version of the Magazine Pro Theme and my previous theme was a customized version of the Focus Theme.
BLOGGER TO WORDPRESS TRANSFER
For the blogger that’s interested in making the leap from Blogger to WordPress, a gift of Blogger to WordPress transfer package makes a great gift.

lots of good ideas, though i must say at the moment am a bit lazy on the reading, yeah i know me, lazy on the reading. I haven’t read a full book for December yet and we are already on the 19th day. I’ve dried up for some reason, perhaps I’d use the last week to meet my goal of 120 books, I’ve read 102 thus far this year.
I’ll try and come back when my reading bug has slammed me again, I say try because i may forget. The one feature I like about your blog is the lil option below that allows the person’s last entry to show. I don’t like wordpress though i do have a wordpress blog that i keep dormant, perhaps one of these days i’d wake it up with my artistic endeavors.

It’s comment luv that allows that last post option to display. I believe you can you use it with blogger as well.
