Can you believe it’s not only Friday again but we have already crossed into the third month of the year? Seems like February went by fast. Friday is the day of the week I share 5 interesting finds I have read across blogland that has inspired, challenged, convicted, encourage or spoke to me in some way during the week. The articles are just a sampling of the many interesting finds. Below are my Friday Five in random order.
- Does Ministry Have an Expiration Date at Praise Net { an interesting look at how honoring God can become second } I first came across the article via The Old Black Church blog
- The Metamorphosis of Becoming a Christian at a Deeper Story {about how the transformation process doesn’t look the same for everyone}
- Interested or Committed by Tammi at Laughing at the future {oh this one stepped on my toes}
- The Power of Your Words by Peggy at aMazing Grace, Mazes, Messes, Miracles {about choosing to walk in unity with others}
- Are You Taking Targeted Action or Going in Circles at Decisive Minds { this one hit me too; I’m so guilty of researching and studying something but failing to put it into action}
Ok, now it’s your turn. What have you read this week that really spoke to you in some manner?
I look forward to the Friday Five every week, Wanda. There is always something that speaks to me. (Guess that says you and I a lot alike!) I especially loved Tammi’s post on interested or committed. Thanks again for this ministry, Wanda!
Hi Pam, I suppose it does say we much in common. Thanks for stopping by on this Saturday morning. Hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start my friend.
I can’t believe it’s March. I started feeling the pressure of certain deadlines last week, but I certainly did some refocusing after reading your “WAIT INSTEAD” post this week. I’m keeping my expectations and hopes in God’s timing.
It seems like it was just the beginning of the new year and now here it is already March. And I tell you I’m dealing with a bit of anxious spirit so when I read that passage in Genesis again, it came alive to me. Especially since it seems I have been waiting for a lonnnnnnnggg time already, lol. But God’s timing is perfect.
I really love this feature, Wanda. I was touched by this post from Kendal:

She spoke about the *ordinary* in life – and it just stopped me in my busy, distracted tracks. How often do I appreciate the ordinary, simple moments of life? Not often enough.
GOD BLESS!
Thanks for sharing Kendal’s post Sharon. Like you, I often miss the beauty in the ordinary moments of life. But lately my eyes having really drawn to birds as I go outside or even driving my car.
