In Boy, Girl, Wise One, author Anthony Coleman seeks to connect today’s youth back to the truth that has been forgotten and guidance on how to solve daily problems.
I thought the book offered some good practical wisdom for today’s youth on various topics ranging from education to relationships. However, I personally didn’t like the layout of the book being in the form of a skit almost. Yet this maybe suitable for the intended audience. Additionally, I would like for the author to include subtitles/section headings so that the reader would know what topic was to be discussed next without just jumping to a totally different subject matter. It also may help the book flow better if dialogues with similar subject matter were grouped together rather than scattered throughout the book randomly.
Parents or those who work with youth may find this book useful as a conversation starter.
