Saturating my ears and the airwaves with Awesome by Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago
Some things are worth hearing repeatedly. In the midst of our daily struggles and doings, it’s so easy to get caught up in what we see going on around us. As we focus on those things, they can obscure our perception of just how big our God is. Hope you will join me today in declaring over every troubled, broken, barren, high, or low place in your life or those you know that God is awesome. He is bigger that what our eyes see.
I pray that you are encouraged as you listen. Blessings to you.

Oh, Wanda. I was about to say you have no idea, but I know that you do. I have been living by Matthew 7:7 (asking, seeking, knocking) and keeping my spirit focused on the source. SUDDENLY … AT ANY MOMENT … HIS MIRACULOUS POWER WILL MANIFEST! This is our God. The Utmost. The Highest. The ever-present. The AWESOME!
Perhaps you will think to yourselves, ‘How can we ever conquer these that are so much more powerful than we are?’ – Deuteronomy 7:17
Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. – Ephesians 3:20

LaVonne, I’m so blessed by the scriptures you shared especially the passage from Deuteronomy it’s as if someone had been reading my thoughts. Yet Ephesians is a great response to that passage. I stopped by your bloggy home yesterday and was really as usual but for some reason I couldn’t find the comment again. Really enjoyed It’s Complicated. I’m so glad we found one another in blog land. You writings enrich my life.

No meeting is accidental, even an online one, and you have been a great blessing to me. “This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?” (Luke 13:16). When I was reading your post, those words of Jesus initially came to my mind. That story of healing on the Sabbath reminded me that troubles and struggles can touch the blessed, and can last for extended periods of time. Sometimes we write-off the troubled, the disabled, the limping souls. The blog you write, even when you post something short, may be just the word that brings release to some limping soul that day. Keep praying. Keep pursuing. Keep praising. Keep speaking the word that gives life.
Wanda says
Thank you for for those words of encouragement LaVonne. I needed that push more than you know.
