As family and friends prepare to gather on this Friday, my mind turns to all the military personnel that serve our country near and far to protect our right to freedom and ultimately to Jesus who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we might delight in the joys of freedom.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1 (NIV)

Happy and blessed 4th Wanda! Was so blessed to be sitting on an airplane just a few minutes ago next to a beautiful 23 year old military woman on her way home for a two week leave with her family. It’s been two years! Such a blessing to talk with her and thank her for her service!

Hi Wanda! I’m glad you had such a nice holiday weekend! We hosted my daughter and my two little grands. It was great…and tiring! We are so blessed to live in this country, and I am reminded of that every time I see the news.

Amen, Wanda. This is a good reminder for every day of life. We are free, no matter what the circumstances that surround us.
Our message on Sunday morning was about the true freedom that we have been given in Jesus. May He teach us what it fully means. And may we seek to reach others with His Truth, and may our nation continue to be UNDER GOD.
