It’s been awhile since I have shared a few lovely favorite Friday finds. This week I stumbled across these great reads.
Don’t Miss the Wonder {By Being Wrapped in Self} …is it surprising that I would be struck by a post on wonder? I want to be more open to seeing all the wonder around me every day.
YOU DESERVE TO BE HAPPY
WE FEEL THAT WE DESERVE TO BE HAPPY WHEN WHAT WE REALLY DESERVE IS THE FLAMES OF HELL. – Courtney Kirkland
Have you heard of faith journaling? I love these beautiful illustrations done by Kristin on Why Illustrate My Faith.
I don’t know about you but I have got too much clutter in my life so Sam’s 6 Way’s To De-Clutter Your Life & Breathe Again resonated with me. Especially like that it covers more than just physical clutter but financial, health, technology, and mental.
And I just love the wise advice about how to follow your passion might not be the wisest advice because there isn’t always light bulb moments in life.
So don’t ignore that gentle tug in favor of fretting over how to “follow your passion.” Stop trying to force that if it’s not obvious to you. Instead, get up, move, learn, and explore. –Kali Hawk
Happy Reading friends!

Hi Wanda,
I’m always on the prowl on my home, de-cluttering nooks, crannies, closets, shelves…. It is amazing how much STUFF we acquire in short periods of time. Joy to you~

Cynthia, I need to do some weeding through all the stuff around my place. It seems like the older I get the harder it is to let things go for some reason.

I’m entering a new phase of this life journey – and I don’t know what it will look like or feel like – and I’ve learned not to trust my “expectations” but instead take one faith-step at a time, living intentionally in that step – and letting God be in charge of the reveal. The line by Hawk, ” Stop trying to force that if it’s not obvious to you. ” – that resonated with me – right where I am! Thank you Wanda for this encouraging post! Shalom, friend!

It’s so much more freeing when we can rest in God trusting that He will direct our steps as needed, Maryleigh. So glad that you found one that resonated with you.

I remember reading your posts about you doing some art journaling of your own Barbie. When I stumbled upon Kristin’s post it was the first I had heard of it.
