With the time change over the weekend, I’m having a hard time keeping myself from crawling under the covers almost immediately after I get home from work. These early dark evenings makes these dreamy eyes of mine want to recede behind the curtain of my eyelids early. Needless to say, I have not been doing much blog reading this week.
Lately I’ve been crawling the web and Pinterest for creative ideas on gift ideas and letter writing prompts to send to my Compassion girl. Being a single girl with no children, it’s often hard for me to think of something interesting to write to a 13 y/o in Uganda. O boy did I get lost in all the nifty ideas some of the other Compassion sponsors have crafted.
In today’s digitally connected world, security is one the things we must keep in the forefront of our minds. Snap had an interesting article on how to check all the locations you are currently signed in on Facebook to keep hackers at bay.
I have been feeling little overwhelmed with all this stuff but it feels like I need the stuff. So I could relate so well to this post aptly titled Issues With Stuff.
Have you heard that Google’s out to reimagine Gmail with it’s new app called inbox? It’s still in beta but you can request and invite to give it a try.
What great finds have you discovered this week?

Wanda, it is interesting that you ask what have we discovered this week. That word … discovery … had been on my mind, and I ended up blogging about it after I discovered a read online. Praying that you have more days of discovery this year.

Oh I look forward to reading about your discovery LaVonne. I want to be more observant so that I may be open to discover the grandeur of all that is around me.

Wanda, I love that you look for ways to be creative in writing to your Compassion child. May god bring exactly the suggestions across your path to bless this girl in a way that she knows she is loved by our God and by you! Blessings!

I have really been inspired by latest finding on Pinterest. It’s good for so many things beside collecting recipes and blog tips 🙂

I very much dislike the time change. I too have had a hard time reading and just wanting to sleep all the time. Have a blessed weekend.
Wanda says
Whose smart idea was the time change anyway? Just when I get used to it will be time to change again.

Hi Wanda! I know what you mean about wanting more sleep. These cloudy, colder days just make the call from my pillow louder! My brother and sister in law just left after a long weekend visit, so I feel a little out of touch with the blog world. That’s why I appreciate you so much. Thank you for all you do for us!
Sunday blessings,
Ceil

Ah how nice you all were able to enjoy time with one another. I always enjoy spending time with my sisters although we live close to one another.
