Refuse to Be…Stuck

By Wanda

A thought for you day:

Refuse to be stuck with things, ideas, and methodologies that no longer work for you. Clinging onto the old way of doing things gives no room for the new.

Prayer: Lord show me the places that Iโ€™m clinging onto to old dead things. Give me both the wisdom and the courage to let go. Trusting that although the new is unknown, it is far better than holding onto what no longer works.

We must adapt and change. And remember that the only thing that doesn’t change is God.

Change is necessary; however, I’ve some areas I tend to be more welcoming of change than others.

So true. Even though my heart and mind knows that, I still find it hard to part with some things at times.

Wanda, I love how you communicate pointed truths so succinctly! Great job! What’s also interesting to me is that I just did a post on a similar topic, except mine was addressing traditions. I also just read a post on MTJ’s blog related to the same topic as well. You think the Lord is trying to get a message across? ๐Ÿ™‚

Sounds like He is Beverly. When He he is trying to communicate His truth to me I often come across similar messages in many different ways. Thank you for the lovely compliment. I simply try to share what God gives me in the manner in which He speaks to me, which if often simple.

Yes, yes, we have to follow Him. I was just reading in Isaiah 58:11(which just happens to be the foundation of my blogging home) this morning and oh how it ministered to my heart. It reassured me that He indeed will continually guide me.
