Speaking of Jesus: The Art of Not-Evangelism
K is for kindle. Even after making the decisions to purchase a kindle last August, I wasn’t sure if I , miss avid book reader, would like it. But I have been pleasantly surprise by how much I have enjoyed reading my kindle. Although, I still enjoy clasping a real book in these hands of mine.
Since purchasing my kindle I have discovered that Amazon often features limited time free kindle books. I have discovered lots of new authors this way. What are you currently reading on your kindle?
Here are a few of today’s limited of time free books on kindle:

Wow Wanda, these look great!
I love my kindle too, but still love a real book and libraries and the vintage ones that smell of faded memories 😀
Hope you are doing well!

There’s nothing quite like a real book.

I still haven’t made the Kindle leap yet, but I don’t have the disposable income to make the purchase either. Besides I have so many unread books in my house that they could keep me busy for years to come.

Thanks for the links…I don’t have a Kindle but I use the app on my PC. I have a Dell mini so it is easy to hold in my hands and read in bed with.
Wanda says
I used the Kindle for PC before actually purchasing the device too.

I don’t have a Kindle but I downloaded the app. I kind of want the Fire now, after resisting it for so long. Of course, I don’t plan to take it with me into the pool. I’ll stick with cheap paperbacks for that. If I drop them it’s no great loss.

I wish I had known about and waited for the release of the Kindle Fire. But I enjoy the one I have too.

I think I ought to invest in a Kindle everyone else seems to have one.
Great post. Wanda.
Yvonne.

It is quite popular but so are other devices.

I don’t have a kindle but know several people who do and enjoy them. Amazon certainly has plenty of books for them, and it’s nice that they offer some free ones as well!
Wanda says
You don’t even have to actually own a Kindle to enjoy all the available books. Amazaon has free kindle for PC software, which allows you to read books on your computer.

No Kindle for me. I’m sure I could get used to it. Like not licking my finger to turn the page! I like the feel of a good ol’ book in my hand, too. And I think it would bug me always having finger prints on the screen. Probably why I don’t have a touch phone either!
Wanda says
I have the older versions of the Kindle so I don’t have to worry about the fingerprints. But that is one of the nuisances of touch screen technology.

Thanks, Wanda. As a book worm, after years of having my handbags and back seat crammed with books, I have truly embraced E-Reading. My real book love is still strong, but my handbags are lighter and my back seat “library” only has a few “must read” books! lol!
Wanda says
Lol, I can’t see myself giving up completely on “real” books.
