Around the blogosphere I have noticed many bloggers counting the gifts. Although I haven’t actually participated I think it is wonderful to actually take the opportunity to acknowledge and visually see the many gifts that has been bestowed unto us. Just this morning I was reminded to not take the gift of people in my life for granted. We can so easily get comfortable and common with people in our lives whether that is in “real-life” or on the online world.
Every good and perfect gift comes from above. James 1:17
In all the millions of people in the world, it is no accident the people who have entered your life even if only for season. Gifts come packaged in the most unlikely wrappings. Yet when we take the opportunity to peel back the outer wrappings, there is value in every encounter. For I never could have imagined that my meanderings online would bring me along the path with each of you. Knowing that life is busy and there are so many ways you could spend your time, I treasure every visit and sentiment you share here.
Previous A-Z scriptures:
A: As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15b
B: Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. Acts 16:31
C: Create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
D: Devote yourself to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2
Do you have creative ways you incorporate scripture memory in your life?

We never get the gift the way we anticipated!
Wanda says
In most case that is true and it makes the unexpectedness of the gift much more appreciated

Well, Wanda, I am certainly glad I found you online. Blogging is actually a good way to memorize Scripture, and reading other blogs is a great way to do it. Your blog name has one of my favorite Scripture memory words for my “personal” life, and that word is “soul”. I try to memorize the Scriptures having to do with my soul because they help me to look up and not be so consumed with self as we can all get at times. Some of my favorite “soul” verses are:
To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul. – Psalm 25:1
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. – Hebrews 5:12
Let my soul live, that I may praise You. Let Your ordinances help me. – Psalm 119:175
Come, hear, and I shall tell you all the works of God, that which He has done for my soul. – Psalm 66:16
With every blog, you tell us what the Lord is doing for your soul, Wanda, and that is a priceless communication.

I feel the same about you LaVonne. Thank you for sharing your soul scriptures. My blog was actually birth out of very dry period in my life when Isaiah 58:11 became such a refreshing promise to me.
