I know the end of January is quickly approaching but for whatever reasons at the beginning of the year, I wasn’t quite in the mood to do a bit of reflecting. With a little more time under my belt, I finally got around to reviewing my blog stats for 2012 with the help of the annual report provided by Jetpack and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to thank those of you who have stopped by. Last year, there were a total of 168 new posts and I hosted my first guest post by Alida entitled, A Love That Last. The site had visitors from 112 countries, which is quite amazing. Places that my feet may never stand on God has allowed my words to go.

I love the idea of looking back over the past year of blogging…maybe I should do that. My blog is evolving again. After almost 8 years of writing about our lives here on the mission field I find myself taking more breaks than I have before. Perhaps a look back will give me a better perspective of what direction to take in this new year.
Wow 8 years that’s amazing Alida. I have found my blogging to have some ebbs & flows as well. Sometimes looking back helps us to hone in on what has worked for us and gives us new inspiration. Wishing you a year of happy blogging my friend.
I love those stats! It is just amazing how God will enable us to do … to go … beyond all that we can imagine. Keep blogging away; you never know when you will step foot in some of those countries of your readers.
You will be enriched in every way for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us. – 2 Corinthians 9:11
Indeed it is beyond what I could imagine. When I started this blog back in 2010, I had no idea anyone would be interested in reading what I wrote and to see people come back time & time again just amazes me. Love that scripture you shared LaVonne. Many blesses to you my friend. Have a great week.
Reminds me that I need to go back and review mine! Have a blessed week.
It’s interesting to see some of the most viewed posts, although I wouldn’t have expected some to be. Happy blogging Barbie.
I need to do this….neat to look back at blogging
Yes it is and great when they provided me with an easy PDF report. Happy blogging Kim.
Actually no, I don’t do a blog stat review. But I tell you what, I SO appreciate the people that visit me. I love the *heart* connection I feel with others. And it’s always a joy to go visiting, too. I so enjoy your blog, Wanda. Every time I visit, I am blessed.
GOD BLESS!
I certainly feel the same about you Sharon. I’m always awed by your skills of weaving nuggets of truths into your stories of ordinary life. I try to get to caught up in blog stats but I found the report interesting. Have a blessed week my friend.
What a great idea Wanda!
Wow, really I came in second, that is cool! We should celebrate with Cherry Coke ;D
I need to go visit all of these-thank you for sharing and inspiring me~
A cherry coke would be nice my friend. I appreciate you all your support and reading all about your creative ideas. Happy blogging.
Oh thanks Wanda; I can’t eve begin to tell you how your words and friendship has blessed me this past year! This is a wonderful idea; I have gone back and glanced at stats and comments, but never thought to review and sort them this way. I will most definitely take some time to do this! 🙂
Sweet blessings and love sister!
Denise
Denise you’ve been a blessing to me as well. The nice thing about about JetPack, which is a WordPress plugin is that it need all the real work for me. It provided a nice concise annual report showing me all those stats. Pretty niffty.
Interesting retrospect. Hugs my dear
Hugs to you. Have a wonderful weekend!
