Do you know that you are immensely loved by God – the creator of the universe? I hope you answered a resounding “YES” because that’s how He feels about you, my friend. But can I tell you that although I grew up in the church from a baby singing “Yes, Jesus Loves Love,” I haven’t always felt loved? Yet, you know our feelings are fickle, and they are no match for TRUTH.
Truth shatters the lies we tell ourselves.
Truth can silence the voices of comparison.
Truth pushes back the negative Nellies.
Through the course of a day, we can wade through so much inner noise not to mention the onslaught of visual and verbal distractions that can leave us feeling empty and not quite measuring up. That’s why we need to be continually refueled with the truth that can only be found in God’s Word. I love how Jennifer Rothschild’s latest book, 66 Ways God Loves You, points us back to God’s Word and highlights the many ways He has showcased his deep love for us all throughout the Bible. Join me over at Blogs by Christian Women to Discover 66 Ways God Loves You and an opportunity to win you very own copy of the book.

Hi Wanda! Sometimes I sing the words to a hymn, and wonder if I am 100% invested in what I’m saying. “Yes Jesus loves me, the bible tells me so.” Love that reminder…I NEED that reminder!
Blessings,
Ceil
Hi Ceil, your words remind me how when there was this popular song awhile back and I refuse to sing them because I couldn’t say them with an honest heart. However, I do believe we have to keep saying and even singing truth in order to get it fully cemented in our hearts and minds.
blessings…..
sounds good
a reminder is always needed as sometimes our thoughts become stale and we become doubtful and forgetful.

Indeed we all need truth bombs to kill our critical thoughts. Have a great week.
This serves as a reminder to me of the importance of memorizing and meditating on the truth—God’s Word–because it shatters the lies. This looks like a great book!
I think you would enjoy it, Amy. We definitely need to have the Word hidden within.
We didn’t have that song in my church. But I do know that god loves everyone, but sometimes on a bad day I can use a reminder. I will have to find that book. Thanks for sharing!
I think we all need that reminder from time to time, Laurie. It’s certainly one I need over and over again.
I love that! 66 different ways God says He loves us. 🙂 Thank you.
