It’s no secret I adore books and reading has been one of my favorite past-times since the days of my early childhood, when I annoyed my family by reading my favorite books aloud. Which of us could have known back then that my love affair with books would continue and lead me on lifetime journey of searching through bookstores and my own overflowing shelves of books?
Perhaps that was an easy prediction. However, one thing I didn’t foresee as a book lover was ever having the beauties I love so much brought to my doorstep free. Entering into the wonderful world of blogging back in 2010, I was amazed to learned that companies had blogger review programs that connected book lovers with books in exchanged for honest reviews. It sounded like the perfect match not mention a way to curtail my spending on books.
I recently had the opportunity to share about my experiences as a book blogger at Freado, which is a platform that connects book reviewers and bloggers with fabulous book giveaways. Although I have seen many author spotlights and interviews, I have never seen interviews from the book bloggers perspective, which is what intrigued me about Freya’s invitation. Join me over at Freado as I discussed Life as a Book Blogger.
Blessings…
Integriging. I’ll hop on over and see what you talking about. I love to read myself, i haven’t read for 2 weeks and i am going through withdrawals. This year i’ve read 80 books thus far.
Oh wow 80 books. You are a voracious reader. I haven’t been reading as much this year as years past.
I always enjoy your book reviews. I am thankful to get to read and review books from time to time. I only wish I read faster. Blessings for a beautiful week!
I’m not a fast reader either. I’ve been thinking of giving audiobooks. That way I could multitask and possibly get more reading done. Not sure how well I would like it though.
Thank you Wanda. I’ve never heard of Freado yet…I will look into and read your interview.
I’m right there with in loving books. The blogger reviews are wonderful. I always try and select things I know I might like and for the most part it’s been good. It’s a privilege to participate in the book reviews and I take it seriously and give an honest review.
The book blogger review programs can just be a book lover’s dream. If only we had more time for reading. Happy reading Susan.
