Welcome my lovelies to another edition of The Friday Five. Here are a few of interesting reads I came across during my blog reading.
Love Without Hesitation by Amy > shares about the ministry of Rehab’s Rope. These lines from an excerpt she shared really struck a chord with me.
And looking at Rose*- I saw myself. How many times have I performed for the Lord? Fulfilling my “Christian Duties” with the expectation of a return on my investment? How many times have I stood before Him and demanded a response? I’ve gone to Church! I’ve prayed the prayers! I’ve read the Bible! I’ve loved my neighbor. I’ve tithed my 10%! Where ARE you?! Why aren’t you giving me what I’ve asked? How many times have I turned from him and said “Forget it. You’re not worth it.” –MJ
What I Instragrammed vs. What Was Really Happening or My Entire Life is a Life by Olive > a hilarious behind the scenes look at the beautifully captured Instragram portraits.
You’re Done; God’s Not at Sword of Goliath > such a great word of encouragement, if you find yourself feeling spent.
Give Me Jesus by Beth > a beautiful reminder that we must all be ready to say yes to where Jesus leads us even if it is away from what is popular.
A needed heart check revealed my priorities were out of order. My hesitation to say “yes” to a Monday night Bible study was because of how it would interfere with having my Three Word Wednesday post ready by 12:00 AM every Wednesday. – Beth
BEWARE: There is an Imposter Amongst Us by Adrienne > I learned something new once again in blogland. Apparently some blogs are encountering blog comment impersonators.

Wanda, I have a feeling I’ll be laughing and crying over these reads. Oh, my Instagram life … if only! lol!
Wanda says
That one will definitely bring a chuckle. Hope you having a fabulous weekend.
Pam says
Thanks for the link to the imposter post. That is not something I have encountered, but I appreciate the heads up. Forewarned is fore-armed–and that is always a good thing.
Wanda says
Ha I like that phrase Pam! Blessings.

Wanda, I so enjoy visiting you on Saturday mornings. A few of these I had seen this week and also loved. I had not seen the one on imposters & was floored as I read it. It made me realize to pray for discernment & God’s leading in sharing the words we write. Or maybe it is that we need to become better stewards of the words He gives us. Much food for thought & so I thank you this morning! May you have a wonderful weekend!

Joanne, I was quite surprised to learn about comment impersonators as well. We have all encountered spam but an out right impersonator is rather crazy. Great words of wisdom you shared.
Barbie says
Wow, I’ve never heard of blog imposter comments. So crazy!
Wanda says
I hadn’t either Barbie. It’s sad the things people come up with lately.
Amy Jung says

Hi Adrienne, you are welcome. I had to fish your comment out of spam but I do appreciate you stopping by. Your post was very informative as I hadn’t heard about comment impersonators before. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Have a great weekend.
Sharon says
The blog imposter read was a little scary – a lot scary! Never heard of that particular thing before. But, we shouldn’t be surprised. We are constantly at war with an imposter, a liar. An enemy that longs to complicate, frustrate, diminish, and thwart every good thing that God desires to do in and through us.
Not gonna happen – God’s purposes prevail!
GOD BLESS!

So true Sharon. He’s a master of deception but God!
