Welcome to another edition of The Friday Five, where I like to give a shout out to some of the great reads I have stumbled across during the week in blogland.
Scrolling through my reader the title of Christians and Exclusivity piqued my interest.
Then it hit me. A Christian group excluded me from sharing God’s word and my testimony that they knew would inspire Christian women…because I didn’t have enough followers for their standards. –Maggie, Devotional Diva
I so want to give this tip for making your own nut butters a try. Have you ever done this?
Everyone knows about Pinterest right? But have you heard about Godinterest, a relative new social media site for Christians with a similar feel as Pinterest ?
Too often we can shy away from addressing real issues, I appreciates Joy’s courage to tackle racial inequities in the blogging world with love and grace in her post, It’s My Turn, Oh Yes I Am #goingthere. Granted I had no idea what “big blogger trip” she was referring to but it’s a thought-provoking piece.
We are against racism in the abstract, but we are all too accepting of it in our every day.-Joy Forney

Happy Friday, Wanda. If I eat what I plan to this weekend, I think I’ll start my reading with the bulge battle! Help, Lord.

I love the idea of making my own nut butters. And it sure sounds simple enough!.I love peanut butter but lately my favorite brand has seemed just too sweet. Making my own will allow me to eliminate that sweetness that I don’t care for in store bought peanut butter. Thanks for the tip, Wanda!

Lately I have been enjoying almond butter especially putting it smoothies. Who knew making your own was so simple. I’d love to hear how it turns out, if you try it Pam.
