As I sit at my computer, I can not imagine that Friday has rolled around yet again. How is that the week keeps getting faster. Yet it feels like I’m becoming slower in accomplishing all of the things on my proverbial to do list?
I like this quote from Paige about the struggle with bloggers guilt
I’ve got just one life to live. While writing and blogging is very much a part of my life, it’s not all that I do. And so today, I’m setting down the guilt I put upon myself for not blogging on some made-up schedule. I’m laying aside the burden I’ve carried around for the past two and a half months for not keeping up with an insane blogging schedule, as well as tending to the realities of my life. –Paige
Who among us can say they honestly like to lose? But Dawn shows us Why We Don’t Have to Have Win
There are times in life when we aren’t supposed to win, when winning isn’t even supposed to be an option. Sometimes we’re meant to work together and get along or more specifically, to be of one mind –Dawn

Good Morning!
Well, guilt can definitely destroy our dreams….I’ve begun to prioritize what I want to accomplish. I may have 10 things on my list, but I prioritize what I “need” to get done. The rest…oh, well…I hope it gets done some way by someone. Thanks, for the Friday Five. Joy to you Wanda! Embrace the day the Lord has created!

Lol I like your attitude of it getting done some way by someone. How much less stress and more enjoyable our lives are we when can adopt that attitude.

I, too, liked Ceil’s post on the family reunion. It solidifies my own conviction that we need to be telling our faith stories, sharing them with loved ones and strangers alike. Thanks again for the recommendations, Wanda!
Wanda says
Ceil done an excellent job on that as she usual does of connecting our everyday lives with our spiritual truths.

When I first started blogging four years ago, I posted every day. It took awhile, but I finally faced burnout. I even considered quitting, but I kept getting one more idea at a time. It seemed that God was asking me to stay in Blog Land, but leading me to reconsider how I did that. I have now come to a comfortable once-a-week schedule that works for me. I believe that the Lord must lead each of us to a *place* – where we discover our individual balance for writing and living.
So I will be interested in hearing Paige’s thoughts.
GOD BLESS!

Sharon, I always envied or shall I say admired those of you who were able to keep up that every day blogging pace. I really want to do 3x/week but I find it hard to keep that up lately and the guilt sets in so that’s why I was really drawn to Paige’s post. More and more I finding the blogging along with life in general goes through it’ ebbs and flows. There are seasons I have more time to give to it and others I don’t.

LaVonne says
I’m catching up on my Friday reading because I just had a mini family reunion which left me with a major headache. So, Wanda, you can guess which blog I’m starting with.
Wanda says
Lol…yes I think I know which one you are heading to LaVonne. I had a similar bit of overload feeling this weekend after a little family gathering. When you are used to living alone it’s amazing how sensitive you can become to a lot of activity and noise even from those you love.

My pleasure Susannah.

Blessings…..
No need for guilt, balance is required, “a little of this and a little of that make for a whole lot of this and that.” as we say in the islands.
its not about quantity, its about quality of content.
peace.
