In the dark places of your soul,
the light of God longs to shine in.
That’s the phrase that awakens within me this morning. Even as children of God there are rooms within us that we have failed to open wide and welcome His presence there. Perhaps opening the door would be too painful or cause too much shame. So instead you limit yourself to functioning only within smaller spaces of yourself. Just as wounds need uncovering for true healing so does the wounded recesses of our souls.
Make room for God in the small hidden places within.

I certainly fail to open wide sometimes, but when I quit resisting and open the door and invite Him in regardless of the situation, the reward can be more valuable than I can imagine….. if I have the courage to open the door and step outside of my comfort zone! 🙂
Beautiful thoughts to start your morning Wanda! 🙂

Yes, Wanda. I got up very early this morning and the moon was just radiant in the still darkness. In my little small dark space on my porch I felt God with me. May His light continue to shine into all the little unseen (often ignored) places. Selah.
Wanda says
Yes may we be ever cognizant of his radiant light which is available to us.

Hi Wanda –
Hearty Amens to that!

Hello Sandra. Hope you are enjoying a peaceful Saturday filled with Christ’s light.

Sometimes I think I hide from God because I am afraid He will ask something of me that I am uncomfortable doing. And yet, every time I have allowed Him to work in my life despite the discomfort, I have been richly blessed. Like Paul in Romans 7, sometimes I just don’t understand myself.
Wanda says
Oh Pam, I can certainly relate to that.
