Whew, it’s been a rather busy week but I managed to get this post in before Friday said goodbye. Hope you’re enjoying The Friday Five as much as I have enjoyed collecting a few of the many blogs I read over the course of a week. Through this feature I hope to shine the light on intriguing posts that captured me in some manner this week. Here’s five interesting post to check out this weekend.
1. The Holy Heart; The Ministry at Sword of Goliath {one of those posts that makes me want to Selah for a moment}
2. Creative Cleanse at Katelyn Brooke {about taking time to plug into your own creative juices}
3. Why Determination Isn’t Enough to Change Your Habits at Success Connections.
4. 6 Things to Do in First Week of Blogging at We Blog Better {Even if you have been blogging for awhile this list is handy}
5. My Isaac is on the Alter at My Destiny Sharing Hope {about letting go of the promised thing}
What have you read this past week that spoke to you in some way?

After listening to “Creative Cleanse” I have to admit that my creativity is one area where I hold back. The thing I have learned about myself is that when I use and release and share my creativity, I am much less stressed. I truly believe that the area of creativity is one where everyone can benefit from the joy of sharing. This is not an area to hold back in. I pray everyone finds something creative to release and share this weekend.
Wanda says
LaVonne, I tend to hold back as well most of the time out fear. Which of course I know is not of God. I’m guilty of getting so caught up in looking at and standing in awe of others creativity that I fail to really hone in on mind. Exploring creative outlets have a way of refreshing the soul.

I so enjoy these, Wanda. Thanks for *passing on* the good wealth of encouragement. This week I was greatly encouraged by this post written by Pamela at “A Sheltering Tree”:

I continue to learn more about my battle with worry. God is faithful to keep bringing me new thoughts from writers that speak to my heart. (This, of course, would always include you!)
GOD BLESS!

Hi Sharon, thanks for sharing Pamela’s post. I often read some thing in the course of the week that really speaks to a specific area I’m grappling with. I love how we can draw from another. Hope you’re week is off to a good start.

Ahh thanks Jennifer. You’re good at painting beautifully words and the vivid images you share. God gives each of us different tools but they’re each valuable. Hope you have a blessed week.
