It’s Sunday and throughout the world many Christians have done what was customary–gathered at church services. Yet sitting within the pews listening to the message of the God of all hope sat many who silently suffer with the belief there is no help or hope for their issue. Will you join me over at Lisa Shaw Cares as I share Why Now Is the Perfect Time to bring our concerns to Jesus?
Cynthia says
On my way over to read your post!
Wanda says
Thank you sweet friend. Hope you have a great week.

“What if we start to see them as little reminders that Jesus is near instead of allowing them to become needle pricks that points to what is missing in our lives?”
*commented over there but here too*
That was good. Maybe I can take all the pinpricks lately (and there have been a lot!) as showing me what’s coming, since I’ve been whining about not knowing? Haha.
Wanda says
Haha…I understand. I do my fair share of whining but then I reminded to have a change in perspective.

Wow, this is so timely. Only last Friday I was talking with one of my prayer partners about how frustrated we were with seeing so may people walking out of church totally hopeless. I think we probably get more calls on Sunday nights for prayer than any other day. Mercy, Lord, mercy. Open our eyes and our hearts to the cries of Your children.
Wanda says
Now that’s quite interesting LaVonne. One would think Sunday would be a time people felt most rejuvenated. Oh my. Something is missing.

I am so grateful that Jesus always has time to listen. His door is always open, His arms are always welcoming. I continue to pray that people understand Him better. For if they did, they couldn’t help but come near.
You speak great Truth, Wanda. As you always do.
GOD BLESS!
Wanda says
Yes when we can’t reach our best friend, prayer partner, or others we can always reach him because he never sleeps nor slumbers. Even with all the people in the world he doesn’t lose sight of us is amazing.

HI Wanda! What a beautiful post. It was perfect for me. (I hope you pick yourself for the Friday Five!) I like how you have the idea to use the triumphs of others as the proof that God is good. And he will be good in my life again too.
God is always with me, even if I walk away or get distracted and discombobulated (great word!). Good thing too, it happens more than I would like to think.
Blessings,
Ceil

Thanks Ceil, the enemy would have us use the triumphs of others as proofs as God’s injustice but we just need a chance in perspective. Unfortunately this week’s Friday Five was interrupted by storm and me not have electricity. Needless to say I learned a lesson about putting things off to the last minute lol.
