Every day life presents us with the opportunity to be sowers of good. And if we are honest, some days we become disappointed because we do not see the results we had hoped. But can you still say yes to doing good?
Just this morning, I was thinking does it really do me any good to do a certain activity. As I went about my activity, I did not get a response. But as I opened up the In Touch Magazine to read today’s devotional scripture, my answer came in the words of Galatians 6:9.
Some seasons of sowing extend far longer than we expect but be assured my friends reaping time does come IF (there’s that small word that has a big impact) we do not give up.
So I encourage you today to keep at it! Keep writing, keep encouraging, keep praying, keep believing, keep doing the assignment, keep being in the proper position to receive your harvest of blessing.

This really spoke to me this morning. Thank you!
Happy to hear some one else need those words as much as me. Keep at Ren!
Great encouragement to keep at it!
Thanks for linking up with Woman to Woman’s Word Filled Wednesday! God bless!
I’m always happy when I come across a new place to fellowship with other sisters in Christ.
Just when I was getting double-minded about that gardening (spiritually and naturally), here comes Ms. Wanda … with the Word! Help me, Lord.
LOL, girl keep at it! I read your post Big Baby this morning and it made me smile. I needed that reminder that I was God’s big beautiful beloved. Now that’s a label I want to hang onto. Unfortunately blogger wasn’t playing nice so I couldn’t leave a comment.
I love it! We must never tire, spiritually. Gotta keep pushing! Blessings!
Hey sweet friend, you have been on my mind lately. Keep sharing your gifts!
Thank you for this reminder, Wanda. Wow…we know sometimes not giving up is easier said than done. It’s wise for us to keep God’s word and His promise in our mind. It helps us to keep our sowing in perspective.
Oh don’t I know it girl. There are several things I have been on the verge of quitting. But God!
Wow, Wanda. This is two places today that I was encouraged to continue doing good. John Wesley also wrote, “Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.”
And as Churchill said, “Never, never, never give up.”
Love that quote Pam. There is always some good that we can sow. Keep sowing.
Love your encouraging words here! Every once in a while we just need someone to come alongside to help us press on. Thanks for being that someone today!
Thanks Rachael! I was only passing along the push that was given to me. We never know who can benefit from what we share. Hope you have a great day.
thanks for the encouragement Wanda….I needed it. Wishing you a beautiful Thursday
Thanks Nikki. God knows just what we need doesn’t He. Have a great evening.
Oh yes! We of little faith (well, me of little faith!) tend to want to throw in the towel when we don’t see the fruit of our labors immediately. Thanks for the reminder to stay the course, Wanda. This verse always brings to mind the song by Kevin Davidson and Voices, “We Shall Receive.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JeJHA50ruo
I needed this right now, Wanda. Thank you for your faithfulness in writing words of encouragement. Blessings!
And reading your words is encouraging to me Angel. Have a great rest of the week!
This was so encouraging to me, especially with the kind of week that I have had!
Glad you could get a dose of encouragement. Hope you and that little one are doing well.
Hi Wanda,
Thank you so much for your post, it really encouraged my heart today.
Blessings.
Hearing that others were encouraged by it encourages me as well. We are helpers one to another. Have a great rest of the week Anita.
Ye shall reap what you sow, and doing good is always the way to reap a goodly harvest.
Yes mam it is. We can’t go wrong with sowing good.
Bless you.
Wanda,
I needed to read this today. Not that I’m discouraged, but just to be reminded “keep running the race”. We may never even see the fruits, but that’s okay. It’s in God’s hands and he grows others faith. Thanks so much.
That’s true Dawn some fruit comes way beyond our time. Keep racing!. Hope you enjoy a great weekend.
A good word for me today!! Keep on keeping on! Bless you, Wandan
Blessings to you Karen.
Great advice and encouragement. Passion is king and perseverance is queen… just need a reminder now and again. Thanks, Wanda.
I like that saying Floyd. Never heard it express quite like that but two are valuable to being productive.
Wanda, this is just perfect!! Thank you!! And thanks for sharing it over at WholeHearted Home this past week.
Thanks Judith. I imagine link up with others when I can. Hope your week is off to a wonderful start!
